When I press the shutter button on my camera, I not only capture an image, but also create one.  Emotion, excitement, and being able to tell a story are all important elements within photos. I first fell in love with photography while I was a student at University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC).  I acquired a Visual Arts Degree with a background in Fine Arts, and have acquired many skills by being a graphic/web designer by profession.  Daniel Merino Photography started November of 2007.  Daniel Merino Photography captures life portraits of all different occasions.   With the digital age upon us, I am able to use my artistic ability to capture every glimpse of life.  I am proud to be an artist and use photography as a way to capture memories and a form of communication.
